The Industry Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC) of Jeppiaar University serves as a strategic bridge between academia and industry, fostering meaningful and sustained collaborations that enhance learning, employability, innovation, research, and professional development. The Cell works towards creating a dynamic ecosystem where academic knowledge is complemented by real-world industry practices, emerging technologies, workplace expectations, and contemporary business needs.

 

At Jeppiaar University, IIIC facilitates continuous engagement with corporates, industries, professional bodies, research organisations, entrepreneurs, alumni, and industry experts to create opportunities for students and faculty to interact with the professional world. Through structured industry partnerships and collaborative initiatives, the Cell contributes to making academic programmes more responsive to evolving industry requirements.

Key Objectives

  • To establish and strengthen long-term industry–academia partnerships through meaningful collaborations and MoUs.
  • To provide students with industry exposure, experiential learning, internships, industrial visits, live projects, and career-oriented opportunities.
  • To facilitate interaction with industry professionals through guest lectures, expert sessions, workshops, seminars, conclaves, panel discussions, hackathons, and mentoring programmes.
  • To facilitate industry participation in curriculum enrichment, skill development, programme design, and academic advisory activities.
  • To promote collaborative research, consultancy, innovation, technology development, and industry-sponsored projects.
  • To encourage the establishment of Centres of Excellence, skill development initiatives, and technology-enabled learning environments in collaboration with industry.
  • To provide faculty members with opportunities for industry exposure, Faculty Development Programmes, professional upskilling, and collaborative knowledge exchange.
  • To identify emerging industry trends and translate them into relevant academic, training, research, and employability initiatives.
