Education at the School of Sciences and Allied Health Science emphasizes interdisciplinary instructions that incorporate innovative educational programs to prepare value-based professional graduates of the modern era.
The school encompasses 4 UG programs and a Ph.D. Program. Undergraduate Program includes Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Computer Applications and Ph.D. in Life Sciences and Allied Health Sciences (FT/PT).
The School of Sciences and Allied Health Science programs are designed to impart professionalism needed for the pharma, healthcare and software industry, inclusive of capacity building and higher learning prospects as skill sets. The school also empowers students with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in the diverse landscape of Computer Applications, and other Software Domain-Specific Applications and its related disciplines.
Our Sciences and Health Science faculty members are from varied disciplines, including, Biotechnology, Forensic science, Cancer Science, Computer Science and Software domain specific experts – allowing the students to learn about bioscience, food and healthcare industry, and also study the importance of modern computer applications which imparts a holistic understanding of Internet technologies, modern web development, and mobile application development.
The school facilitates the emerging state-of-the art knowledge to the students from different socio-economic backgrounds to make the students employable and sustain the academic and industrial challenges. A well-designed curriculum is provided, which caters to the modern technological advancements and improvises other key areas of development like leadership, organizational skills, adaptability and creativity in their respective courses.
The School of Science has supportive team players to motivate the students in all aspects like Career guidance and Industrial placements, providing endowments and delivering guest lectures etc., so as to uphold and improve the reputation of the institution and also to set platforms for the upcoming graduates and postgraduates to perform better in their academic career profile.
The School of Science has also signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU’s) with Industries and Professional bodies to pave the way for conducting various collaborative programs, through which students get exposure to other premier institutions. After graduating from the School of Science, a student can be placed in various reputed industries or join for their post graduate studies both In-house or in Abroad Universities thus attaining holistic development for becoming a highly qualified graduate in the emerging areas of science and in turn become good citizens of the nation.
