Stretching across a 1.50 lac sq. ft. area and four storeys high, with spacious reading areas, the University’s vast Central Library hosts a collection of over 1,45,000 volumes of books as well as a large number of reference books and encyclopaedias on a variety of topics. The library also subscribes to 4599 online international journals and over 16510 titles of e-books. It also maintains archives of students, project reports, theses and dissertations, and conference proceedings. The library is fully automated with an RFID technology foolproof security system.
Digital Resources
The digital archives have a collection of over 16000 e-books and CD-ROMs and 10-year back files of 4599 online journals. The infinite store of information available on the web is freely accessible through the campus Wi-Fi.

IEL – Online (IEEE & IEE), ASME, ASCE, ACM Digital Library, Springer Online, Science Direct, Nature, Lexisnexis, CDJ Law Journals and databases like EBSCO and SCOPUS. A student can access the major libraries in Chennai through the following information networks:
