The School of Sciences and Allied Health Science offers full time and part time doctoral training opportunities in a wide range of research themes and categories. These programmes are developed positioning with the University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations.
The Academic Research Programmes offered by the school are uniquely structured. They acquaint students with the pressing challenges of the world today while also encouraging them to explore solutions to successfully resolve them. Aligned with the vision and goals of the University, these programmes promote inter- and multidisciplinary collaboration and research. They provide a conducive environment for students to sharpen their research skills and pursue their areas of interest. The Ph.D. program has been specially designed to cater to the scholarly needs. The school gives privilege to the research scholars to fix their research in their respective domains.
The School of Sciences and Allied Health Science provide students with the ideal platform to learn and pursue interdisciplinary research. Research meetings and journal clubs bring together faculty members and doctoral students from different fields of study. Here, they discuss and deliberate on innovative ideas and creative concepts with the potential to be converted into collaborative grant applications.
The research supervisors empower the research scholars to perform authentic research work. The institution supports the research endeavours of faculty and students by providing incentives for publication and patents.
Program Duration is 3 - 3.5 Years Duration
Eligibility Criteria
- The interested candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Health Science, Applied Health Science or an equivalent PG Program in science stream from any recognized university.
- Students who have attended their M.Sc. Final year exams are also eligible for this doctorate program.
- The qualifying aggregate score in MSc degree is at least 55% marks.
